Driving next to Dillmans Power Station and canal near Dillmans and Kumara , on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. This is an amazing area just off SH73. To the right you have the canal. On the left it's not the bush that's great, it's the piles of rocks stacked two, three, maybe even four stories high, for as far as you can walk and see. I believe the road is built on part of it. The rocks are old tailings that were mostly hand stacked by miners gold sluicing back about the 1880s.
