Driving from the Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track Car Park to Rowallan in the Southland region, on the South Coast of New Zealand's South Island.
The Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track sits partly in a UNESCO World Heritage Area in the magical Fiordland National Park. The Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track is a 62km 3-day loop walk in the southern reaches of the Fiordland National Park. The track takes hikers along the south coast of New Zealand up into the sub-alpine zone of the Hump Ridge. From here the track passes over historic viaducts immersed in native forest. The nearest town to the track is the fantastic Western Southland town of Tuatapere.
